My master's in educational technology leadership will play a powerful role in my ability to sell and support faculty with adapting new technology in their classroom.

I learned quickly to not be afraid of taking on new challenges, leave no stone unturned or door closed , and strategically seek out the opportunities that will make you successful. I strategically planned out my on-campus plans, was present, open-minded, and determined to overcome any obstacles to achieve my goals. After coaching her to help with student support tables, I determined alternative methods to utilize her skillset in pursuing new business.

I mentored Sterling on sales presentations and strategically used her student perspective to secure historically 'unwinnable' adoptions at the University. During my time as a representative, I discovered my passion for engaging my audience - regardless of content or topic. An actively engaged audience doesn't forget you or your purpose. I secured a k Speech and Public Speaking adoption after my 'active' sales presentation where faculty had to actively participate on the white board.

Here, Kona my rescue pup helped me prepare presentation folders for that winning presentation. With a background in Entomology and a focus in the hard sciences, I spent additional time learning about the strategic advantages of our HSSLE booklist.

My first year into the role, I was awarded the Shining Star Award for providing outstanding customer service, a dedication to mastering the role, and measurable success! My success required a tremendous amount of effort, but was refined and guided thanks to the critical support of my Peer Leader, Mentor, and District Manager!

In my second year at Pearson, I was selected to be a Mentor for one of our newly hired reps. I took this role seriously and became the point person for anything our new rep, Jake needed.
