Afterwards, Sweets informs the girl and her mother that they caught the rapist and helps the mother finally support her daughter and get her the help she needs.
Booth later admits to Bones that he'd already figured it all out but let Sweets solve the case in the end. In Season 9, Sweets slowly breaks away from the group and tries to use his psychology to help others for awhile after Pelant used his psychological reports on the other team members against them.
His psychological skills were used to help people in the episode " El Carnicero en el Coche ". But Sweets comes back and in Season 9 even has a one-night stand with the squintern Jessica Warren.
